1. Acceptance of these terms

StoreCanary (storecanary.io) is operated by LAMOTTE LLC, a French individual entrepreneur (entreprise individuelle), registered address 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, STE N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA, EIN 33-3557194. By creating an account or using our website and monitoring service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description of the service

StoreCanary performs scheduled, read-only scans of the publicly accessible pages of the Shopify store URL you provide (product pages, sitemap, structured data, indexability signals). Based on these scans, we send you email alerts and reports describing detected technical SEO issues, in plain language, with suggested fixes.

The service does not require access to your Shopify admin, does not install anything in your store, and does not modify your store in any way.

3. No warranty — service provided "as is"

StoreCanary is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to detect meaningful technical SEO issues, but we do not guarantee that our scans are exhaustive, that every issue affecting your store will be detected, or that using the service will improve your search rankings, traffic, or sales.

4. Your responsibilities

• Only submit store URLs that you own or are authorized to monitor
• Keep your account credentials confidential and secure
• Use the service in compliance with applicable law

5. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@getstorecanary.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; there is no long-term commitment and no early-cancellation fee.

6. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. If StoreCanary isn't for you, email us within 30 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreCanary and LAMOTTE LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost traffic, or lost sales, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account in case of abuse, non-payment, or unlawful use of the service, with notice sent to your account email where reasonably possible.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent French courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or announced on this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
